Delaine began her public accounting career in 1984 and spent over 20 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining the firm. Delaine spent several years at PwC’s National office in New York City. While there, she worked on many initiatives including research for and writing of Internal Controls – Integrated Framework also known as the COSO report. Currently, Delaine is the firm’s lead technical partner. Delaine is a certified public accountant and a certified internal auditor.

Before Ben joined Assure in 2008, he practiced as a tax manager for eight years with Coopers & Lybrand in Spokane. Ben then assumed the role of tax director for Semitool, Inc., an international manufacturer of semi-conductor manufacturing equipment headquartered in Montana. While at Semitool, he developed internal control processes for all areas of tax reporting. Currently, Ben is responsible for managing the tax practice at Assure, which includes reviewing all corporate income tax and all ASC 740 disclosures for all of the firm’s audit clients. He also works on the firm’s internal audit and SOX 404 engagements, specializing in controls over income tax processes.

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in psychology and went back to school in 2007 to gain the necessary business and accounting credits in order to sit for the CPA exam. He passed all four parts of the exam in late 2010. Scott began his public accounting career at DeCoria, Maichel & Teague, P.S. back in 2011. He began his auditing career working on governmental, not-for-profit, regulated industry and 401(k) clients. After leaving DeCoria, Maichel & Teague in 2018, he returned in 2020 to specialize in auditing publicly traded companies. He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and riding bikes.

Terra graduated from Eastern Washington University with bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, General Management and Human Resources in the Spring of 2002. She started her professional career with the firm in 1999, originally specializing in administrative support. In addition to her experience with traditional audit work, she specializes in providing internal audit and SOX 404 support services. She is also the manager of all of our benefit plan audits. Outside of work, she enjoys watching her two sons play hockey and her daughter’s soccer matches, along with traveling and camping with her husband, kids and two dogs.

Josh's first career was in the hospitality trades. After some time, Josh went back to school for accounting and started his public accounting career as an intern with Assure CPA in the summer of 2021. He joined us as a full-time staff accountant in 2022. At the firm, Josh's area of client focus is manufacturing and mining. The next stepping stone Josh is working on is earning his certified public accountant credentials.

Peggy is a Whitworth College graduate in Business Management. She has over 30 years working as an executive assistant, office management, human resources, and bookkeeping. Her experience in diverse industries includes accounting, insurance, and banking. She enjoys sports, especially softball with her husband, and has recently added watercolor painting as her favorite activity.
